mochii

3D printed watch

I’ve always been a fan of G-shock. Fun and bulky. Even if they’re not expensive in the watchmaking world, it’s still a budget when you want to buy all the g-shocks. So an idea came to mind: why not create a watch printable in 3d, customizable indefinitely: the Mochii was born!

The Mochii watch is based on the Casio F-91W-1, which is the least expensive of all Casio watches. Only the watch’s electronics are retained, and everything else is 3d printed, even the strap, which is printed in flexible TPU filament.

The mochii as presented is a « start » model, and I’d like to release different parts and accessories on a regular basis to customize and modify the watch.

The watch is simple to assemble, but requires a high degree of printing precision, as the various parts are small and need a lot of support!

Make it unique, make it yours, Makeyo!
